Last night after church, and after going to Wal-Mart, and after the girls went to bed, we opened up the emails from Teresa, one of the Travel coordinators for AWAA. WOW----what a lot of paperwork...things have changed a lot since we adopted Jing-Jing, due to the Hague! Anyway, today I feverishly completed the Visa packet and Travel Info. sheets that we will hopefully mail tomorrow.
I also dropped off some photos and captions to the sweet girl at the Post Office here for her to translate. Her name is Candi. She is Chinese and is also from Guangdong province! It has been a real blessing to connect with her. She told me today when Emma wants REAL Chinese food, to send her to her house....how sweet!
And tonight, I'll be reading through the I-800 and DS 230 packets to find out exactly what we need to do for those things. ....Lots to do before Meredith and I leave for Children's Camp on Monday...not to mention the duathlon is Saturday morning; SS social Sat. night; and church picnic at Pt. Mallard on Sunday night! I'm looking forward to the 7 hour bus ride to SC so I can rest!!!
We're so excited for Emma. We hope she knows now that she will be adopted! I cannot even imagine what she is thinking. We hope to get a care package to her soon. We are working on all of that also. God is good!
And tomorrow we anticipate the FedEx man delivering our RA packet....which has to be signed and returned...hopefully I can do that tomorrow afternoon!
We are excited for you!
