Missing Emma

We made it through Emma's birthday this past Monday....we did receive one gift though on her birthday...our paperwork was Logged In to the CCAA in Beijing Monday. That's pretty neat...I believe God may have had something to do with that. He knows when and how to give us little bits of joy at just the right time. He gave us another bit of joy today....a family that lives in New Hampshire adopted a 6 year girl from the same orphanage that Emma lives in a couple of years ago. Stephanie contacted them through the internet (Awesome invention Al Gore...just kidding) and they sent us some pictures from the orphanage of their daughter and other children there and who do we see....our sweet Emma. She is simply beautiful and you can't imagine how awesome it is for us to see pictures of her....she is even smiling in one picture.

So thank you Michele from New Hampshire for giving us the gift of seeing pictures of Emma. Our families are connected in a special way and hopefully our families will one day be able to meet. Until then, may your family be blessed.

Emma's Daddy...I love the name daddy so much more than Matthew.
