Update

Wow! I am not too prompt w/blogging...I guess between family, work, church, Avon, running, going to the gym, grocery shopping, orphan ministry, adoption process, homework, cooking, cleaning, etc...it becomes a little difficult.

Anyway, God continues to bless us. We submitted our I800A application March 11th and received the official 'notice' in the mail March 29th, that it was being processed! This is the final piece of the Dossier!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fact that the application which is mailed separate from the Home Study if you live in AL, meets up with the Home Study, is a miralce in itself. No one has yet been able to explain to us just quite how this happens...so we choose to believe it is God Himself that matches them up for processing.

We drove to Birmingham this morning to be fingerprinted again, this time by Homeland Security. You'd think the FBI and Immigration could share info., like our fingerprints, since the first set was electronically taken Dec. 18th; but 'no', this is the US federal government.

At any rate, it was very painless this morning! In 1-3 weeks we should receive the
I-797C; and after that, we will take most all our paperwork to Morgan County for certification and then to Montgomery for SOS certification; THEN, we will mail it to Houston to the Chinese Consulate. Once we receive it back from them, we will FWD it to AWAA and they will process it for CHINA!
