Trinity

Trinity is a little girl in Jing-Jing's class at school that lives a few houses from us. She frequently comes to play at our house and has eaten dinner with us a few times. Please pray for her. The girls, well Meredith, is witnessing to her in her own little way. Trinity told Meredith she was born a Christian, and Meredith told her that was not possible.

We've invited her to church and hope that sometime she can come with us. Her mother is a nurse and her parents are divorced. Her dad lives in IL and she is going to visit him over Spring Break. There is a boyfriend living in the home with her mother. It is just so sad because they have never met us, yet they trust that we are good people, because Trinity has literally spent HOURS in our home. I can't imagine letting my little 6-year-old girl go to a complete stranger's house.

The other day we were leaving to go somewhere. Eariler she had jogged with me and Jing-Jing around the block. As we were driving out of the neighborhood, we saw her running, ALONE, around the block. I wanted to pick her up and take her with us. I cannot fathom not even caring where my child is.

Anyway, we have enjoyed having her over. I guess we're also getting a glimpse of what it will be like to have 3 little girls at home! We can't wait to bring Emma home. That day could not come soon enough.

So, in the meantime, we continue to pray for peace and protection over Emma...and for patience for us. He alone is our Rock and Provider on this journey.
