21 Days of Prayer

www.churchofthehighlands.com

It's no secret that the Lord took us from an extremely difficult time in our lives in 2012, to some of the best times over the last three years. Still, there is not a way for me to adequately express all of the emotions that still come to mind when I think about all that has happened to our family.

Today we find ourselves in the midst of 21 Days of Prayer with our church. Here are a few things I've been thinking about since Sunday--

1. I want to be known as a woman after God's own heart.
2. I've done my fair share of sinning and repentance. I have been forgiven much, so I want to live for Him.
3. I so deeply desire to be the wife and mother He's called me to be. Some days are easier than others. Setting aside self and the flesh is not always the easy thing to do.
4. I am thankful our church takes this time, twice a year, to focus on Him.
5. I want the world to fade away from my vision/my mind/my heart, so I can hear His voice.
6. I want wisdom and understanding, as stated in Isaiah 11.
